Inspired by spending time each summer volunteering at at Deep Dirt Farm in the Sonora desert, Quinn painted Seed Farm to show how everything is connected.
“One summer I planted over 400 milkweed plants in the desert. Butterflies need milkweed, which is difficult to grow in the desert. Humans can help butterflies by planting milkweed plants.” - Quinn
Seed farm was created by choosing colours inspired by seeds and desert. Fluid acrylic paints were layered and brushed to create cells of colour that look like new growth.
